West Coast Ale comes to the North West...

9th May 2022

So, imagine this. You’re in the West Coast of the US drinking IPA, what’s it known for? Bold hop aromas, bitterness, citrus with piney notes and flavours. What if we could deliver this with a British twist…

Think sherbet lemon; this punchy ale delivers an explosion of distinct bitterness and tropical lemon flavours and aromas all in one. What better way to create a clean bitterness than to add Magnum hops, a timeless West Coast ingredient introduced in the 1980’s.With the addition of Cascade hops, this eases the bitterness with pine and floral notes, as well as a hint of grapefruit. To the eye, it is not a classic ale as it appears pale and bright, appearing exactly as a tropical drink would, it could even be mistaken for lager.

The inspiration comes from big hops, solid bitterness, crip and clear properties. But the real twist here is the injection of the citrus. This creates a refreshing, summer wonder.

Inspired by the West Coast, made in Manchester.
