J.W. Lees Supporting Forever Manchester as its Chosen Charity

J.W. Lees is proud to announce its new charity partner of the year – Forever Manchester.

Forever Manchester raises money to support grassroot community activity right across Greater Manchester.  Funding community activity such as junior football teams, domestic violence support groups, food banks, knit and natter groups and everything in between.

The J.W. Lees team at their brewery in Middleton and at their 100 pubs across Greater Manchester will get involved with their own fundraising activities and those of Forever Manchester over the next year.  Pubs across the region are already developing fundraising ideas such as a Christmas Fair and a Ladies Night and are looking forward to getting involved in a wide variety of fundraising activities.

Since Forever Manchester was established in 1989 they have delivered over £53 million into local communities, benefiting 1.2 million people. All of the money raised for Forever Manchester is used to fund and support over 1,000 community projects each year. This means they will have supported community activity within one mile of your home or business if it’s in Greater Manchester.
