Black Tuesday set to create craic
across 50 north west pubs for St Patrick’s Day
JW Lees is taking on the traditional 17th March celebrations with a one-day-only, 50% discount on their ‘proper northern stout’ across a selection of their pubs in the north west.
The Manchester-based brewery has created the cheekily-named Black Tuesday to showcase their British stout, and demonstrate how craic for St Patrick’s Day isn’t exclusively limited to Irish beers.
In a homage to the amazing one-day discounts normally seen ahead of Christmas, JW Lees Stout will be available for one day only at an unprecedented 50% off (while stocks last) at 50 JW Lees pubs across the north west next Tuesday.
The selected 50 pub locations are across the brewery’s heartlands in Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales, including two in Manchester city centre; Founder’s Hall in Albert Square and Rain Bar on Great Bridgewater Street.

JW Lees plots British takeover of 17th March
with incredible half-price stout offer

Stout fans all across the north west will be able to find a local pub offering the Black Tuesday deal by using the online search below, and can join in with the St Patrick’s craic with a truly homegrown stout.
William Lees-Jones, Managing Director at JW Lees, said: “While 17th March is traditionally seen as a celebration of St Patrick, we don’t think it should be a celebration exclusively for Irish stout fans.
“As more and more British pubgoers participate in St Patrick’s Day, we are challenging them to ‘dare to be different’ and try our Manchester-based stout in one of the selected 50 pubs during what is set to be a truly party atmosphere next week, on Black Tuesday.”
