All Aboard
Travel was once a necessity. Roads, rails, and rivers carried people, goods and ideas. Over time, travel became a pleasure, a way to explore and experience. IPAs tell a similar story. Originally brewed as a practical solution to survive long voyages to India, they were built for necessity. But like travel, IPAs evolved. Brewers began to experiment, pushing boundaries. Bigger aromas, complex layers and exciting new hops. What was once functional became extraordinary, something to savour, share and celebrate.
This double dry-hopped IPA is our ode to that journey. The strength and character of necessity, with the richness and flair of indulgence. Don’t be late, this is your final call… All Aboard!
Brewed in collaboration with Track Brewery, this lively pale ale brings a burst of tropical fruit with a balanced bitterness that delivers full flavour without feeling heavy. It’s crisp and drinkable from first sip to last.
OUR SMALL-BATCH MICROBREWERY
In a quiet corner of our brewery yard, up a small, clanky metal staircase, is an unassuming green door. Behind it once stood the boiler, now redundant and removed, the steam ceased to billow above the old boiler house. Until now. With the void created by the removal of the boiler tank, we gained space for a different kind of tank and, above all, a space to think. A thirst for experimentation is part of our DNA: lagers in the 50s, Moonraker in the 60s, Harvest Ale in the 80s, and any number of seasonal ales and collaborations more recently. Today, behind that small green door is where we brew our small batch beers. It’s a place to foster that spirit of innovation and to explore distinctive, challenging new beers—brewing them with integrity in just the right amounts. We’re on a mission to experiment with new styles and varieties of beers, but with nearly 200 years of brewing history behind us. This is the next chapter of Greengate Brewery’s story. And when we talk of this initiative, this innovation, it will simply be known as The Boilerhouse.
