Royal George, Greenfield reopens with fresh new look

Family-owned brewery, JW Lees proudly reopened the Royal George, Greenfield on the 1st November 2023 after the pub had a fresh new refurbishment.

The pub, located on Manchester Road, Saddleworth, welcomes customers to a cosy atmosphere, warm welcome, delicious food and locally brewed beers. The interior design of the building showcases the pub’s relaxing charm whilst balancing rustic and contemporary decorations throughout the drinking and dining areas.

The updated bar is stocked with JW Lees beer; our Manchester Pale Ale, the continental inspired Manchester Craft Lager, our well-loved Bitter, the refreshing Original Lager and the new Light Lager. The menu sports classics like the John Willie’s Beer Battered Fish & Chips and our Legendary Three Cheese & Onion Pie along with the best of the season’s specials to warm up on a winter’s day and the Sunday Carvery is not to be missed for the perfect way to end the weekend.

John and the team cater for large parties, functions and weddings too in their dedicated function space, providing a dance floor, party lighting, sound system and private bar for up to 120 guests.

JW Lees also recently re-opened the Halfway House, Chorley and the Pack Horse, Birtle.
