The interior has retained its country charm with a blend of modern and classic furnishings, bringing lighter and brighter dining areas overlooking the Birtle countryside, and cosy snug corners for drinks.
Regular and new customers, as well as Tina (General Manager) and the team love the new look of the Pack Horse.
The bar features a range of beers such as JW Lees’ locally brewed Manchester Craft Lager, refreshing Original Lager, new Light Lager, Bitter, Manchester Pale Ale and a range of seasonal cask beers. The cellar is packed with hand picked wines to compliment the menu and the back bar is lined up with premium spirits.
A new menu boasts pub classics with new sharers and small plates, ideal for a table with friends over a few beers, as well as seasonal dishes perfect for the Autumn and Winter. Sunday roasts are served with all the trimmings, one of best in the area, featuring delicious bottomless Yorkshire puddings and gravy.
JW Lees also recently re-opened the Halfway House, Chorley and the Royal George, Saddleworth.
