Light fruitiness and fresh hop to taste – Spring Dew

Winter Ale definitely kept us warm and cosy during those bitter cold months, but now as we see the days grow longer and the light stays brighter…we’re ready for Spring Dew.

So, Spring is in, temperatures are rising, there’s a freshness in the air as plants begin to grow and bloom. The big coat is away and we’re ready to socialise outdoors a bit more.

Anyway, now we’ve got you in the mood for spring, now about the beer. It’s an enticing warm golden colour, which is conveniently lighter than Winter Ale was to symbolise the switch from the dark to the light.

This 4.5% abv is a Hallertau Bock, flaunting its classic German qualities by using and emphasising the Halletau hops and Munich malt. It has a light fruitness and freshness, inspired by alpine mornings. This lager-ale hybrid is Bock in style but with a body and characteristics of a fine, premium ale. The Hallerau gives notes of earth, grass and nectar fruits on the nose with a slight hint of spice. To taste, it has a melt-in-the-mouth soft caramel and biscuit flavour

Spring Dew is available from March to June in all of our managed pubs across the North West, Manchester and North Wales. We are also taking orders for trade customers for delivery of this fresh seasonal ale across Manchester and National beer sales.
