CASK ALE WEEK IS BACK FOR 2023

Cask Ale Week is back! Running from 21st September to 1st October, this occasion allows us to celebrate all-things-cask, it’s one of our favourite times of year.

Now, I know we may be biased but seriously, cask is underrated. Why wouldn’t you want a flavoursome, smooth pint? To give you some background, cask is where it all started for not just JW Lees, but the whole of England! In recent years, with all the rush of innovation and popularity a cold and fizzy lager, it seems people have forgotten the beauty in a fresh, full and flavoursome pint of smooth beer. We all know that cask is dying, and we know why…a lot of people have NEVER tried a pint of cask beer. Our mission is to get people to understand why we stand up for cask so much. Often when someone tries cask beer, they realise that their view of ‘I don’t like cask’ is actually ‘I’ve never tried it.’ Don’t just take our word for it, we went into Manchester to get some raw, honest opinions from the public.

Well now you know, cask is not ‘flat’ ‘boring’ and certainly not a ‘Dad drink.’ Why don’t you join the flavour revolution and give your taste buds a cask ale revelation?

All of our  managed pubs and selected pub partner sites are offering free samples of cask to anyone who wants to try (over 18’s of course) it before they buy it. You might even find your new favourite tipple.
